HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING AS A PHOTOGRAPHER?

Tom has been a full time photographer since 2003. The rest of our team are all full time professionals as well and have no less than 10 years of wedding experience.

ARE YOU THE PHOTOGRAPHER THAT WE WILL GET OR ARE YOU GOING TO SEND SOME ROOKY TO OUR WEDDING?

It’s me! I have only missed one event due to being hospitalized but, I have other full time photographers, Tiffany, Cindy, Valeria, Danielle Karen, Sam and Kaitie, on our team, they are also EXCEPTIONAL photographers and can be booked as your primary and secondary photographers as well.

WHAT DO YOU TAKE FOR PAYMENTS?

We accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, and checks at this time.  Credit card payments for either deposit or final payment will incur a 3.4% fee.  Our pricing is based on a cash cost basis.  This means you are receiving a discount already.  We do prefer electronic payments since they are free to both parties and instant.  Far too many checks get lost in the mail it seems but we are happy to accept them in person.

HAS YOUR WORK EVER BEEN PUBLISHED

Yes, several times. An event I shot had images used in the NY Times in 2006. I have also had work used in a few company brochures, and newsletters as well as websites. I’ve done post cards for hotels in Hawaii. My work has also been in non-print places like web sites for radio stations like EIB network’s Rush Limbaugh and Clear Channel. - thanks Laura! Most recently I did work for an author for their book and my photography is also shown on the LA Dodgers Website. I’ve photographed work that has been used in Gelson’s Markets and WAMU (now Chase) and have been chosen to provide the Renaissance Faire in the past for press and event coverage. I was also very humbled to be able to provide Make a Wish Foundation coverage for a very special boy who has now very sadly lost his fight with cancer.

WHAT IS THE TYPICAL PROCESS FOR...?

As of 2019 all images are provided at full print resolution from our gallery page via digital download.  Our files are so large that a thumb drive is no longer an option.

Our typical turn around time for photos is 10 days or less.

As of 2017 all video files (RAW) will be provided upon request at the time of delivery of your edited highlight reel via drop box or google drive.  Typical turn around time for videography is 2-3 months depending on the time of the year.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU AND YOUR TEAM USE?

Our team uses professional cameras from Canon, Nikon and Sony.  If you want to know specifically for a photographer or videographer, please view their profile on the bio page.

IF YOU HAVE NOT SHOT AT OUR VENUE WILL YOU DO A WALK THROUGH?

For any venues we have not previously shot at, we will view it online as well as show up early to walk through it.  We like to keep our work unique.  Sure photos next to a fountain can be pretty but we want you to have something that not everyone has and that requires some fun and playful exploration.

WHAT DO EDITED PHOTOS MEAN?

Our goal is to get it right in the camera. This allows us a much faster turn round time to get your your photos.  We color correct each image and set a consistent look by setting as many of 7 adjustments including exposure, black level, white level, color, sharpness etc.

CAN YOU SHARE PHOTOS AS YOU SHOOT THEM?

YES WE CAN!  We used to use a company called AIRCAM but they sold their business. But as of 2024 we have been working with a new company.  As long as we have strong cell coverage, this is an option for Tom's bookings only at this time.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY DEPOSIT IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL DUE TO COVID OR RELATED COVID CONCERNS?

We have gone above and beyond with our clients and as of the time of this.  As long as you give us a month notice we will move your deposit. We ask that you understand that your original team may not be available so we may have to set another photographer or videographer for your event.  Just check with us before rebooking your venue so we can confirm the dates.  If you book your event without confirming your date with us you will lose your deposit. Please work with us so we can work with you. Beginning in 2023 we will no longer allow this flexibility beyond a 6 month date change.  Our deposits are extremely low compared to anyone else. Never pay in full for your event for any vendor.
