The Altadena Town and Country Club in Altadena, CA has been a cornerstone now for over 110 years and is the perfect place to celebrate your wedding. The location boasts 27,000 square feet and can host several events at the same time or support a very large single event. With two top level event rooms you will have a choice for where you hold your reception or party as well as more than one location for your ceremony if you are getting married. A third ballroom is located on a lower level.
In my 21 years of being a photographer, I have had the honor or covering 3 events here and hope to return for many many more. On my most recent event, March 3, 2024, I was hired to capture "two old folks" who were getting married. Sure most couples are in their twenties and thirties but these two were certainly young at heart. They chose the Altadena Town and Country Club and I was only more interested to return. Cindy, the bride, wanted to keep it straight forward with a simple ceremony and then a party. There was no time taken for the couple to be together by themselves or family photos so if you are wondering what happened... well it wasn't part of the plan. Instead they chose to spend the entire cocktail hour with their guests and then went straight into their reception. They really wanted to dance more than anything else and celebrate their union with their friends and family. The groom Bill even had his lifelong friend from first grade in attendance.
On the lower lawn for the ceremony. It had rained early in the morning so the couple had the upper ballroom ready as back up just in case.
The unused ballroom would have been a great option but we all know outside is always prettier.
Their sweetheart table was adorable and I think this is the first time I have ever seen orchids used in a bouquet. What a pretty option!
Their first dance was great. Not much was said between the couple with their mouths but you can see, a lot was said to each other in their eyes.
The DJ, John from Dance Syndicate DJ was getting into the action teaching the electric slide.
Almost forget about their speeches. Cindy's grandson gave a wonderful speech and also walked her down the aisle. A gentleman in the making!
Things wrapped up a little early but there was no shortage of dancing. Mission accomplished.
I surely hope to see this couple at another life event and would love to return for your wedding, party or other event. The Altadena Town and Country Club is a perfect location for your wedding.
